All stations are then part of The RUH Radiothon and the Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Foundation Radiothon.
Saskatoon Media Group is proud to support the many incredible charitable organizations in Saskatchewan. Each year we supply over 1 million dollars of in-kind advertising to support all the incredible fundraising events that help people right here in Saskatchewan. On top of the many Gala’s, walks, golf tournaments, and other countless events we support as an entire company each station has a cause unique to itself.
CJWW – The Saskatoon Secret Santa Foundation was founded by late great CJWW radio personality Denny Carr. Denny’s dream was to ensure that every child would receive a toy on Christmas Day. Today the Secret Santa Foundation supplies 800 families with toy and food hampers every Christmas. CJWW supports this cause with on air radio promotion and events including U of S Huskie Blitz Day, Blades Night, Wieners & Beans Luncheon and more!
BULL – Every Christmas The BULL partners with The SPCA for the 12 Strays of Christmas. For 12 days leading up to Christmas The SPCA will bring an adoptable animal into the studio. We “interview” the animal and post a bio and pics on our social media channels in hopes of having them adopted. For the past 3 years we have been successful going 12/12 with every animal being adopted before Christmas.
COOL – 98COOL is proud to partner with the YWCA for the many important events they do each year. We support the Women of Distinction Awards, Shine a Light Run and the Shine a Light for the Holidays campaign. You can often see the 98COOL morning show live on location from the YWCA helping out with fundraising events.
Saskatoon Media Group has also helped raised hundreds of thousands of dollars through our very successful RadioThons. In 2019/2020 CJWW, The BULL and 98COOL were proud to be a part of The RUH Foundation RadioThon and The Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Foundation RadioThon.
